Artist's Description
It was Merice who pointed out to me what should have been an obvious fact. Most people today view the Yorkshire Wolds through a car window! Its true so this is a view that most of us will recognise. It could be any country road really but is in fact the road to Setterington from High Mowthorpe. The red campion flowers have been particularly abundant this year and make an impressive and colourful addition to the scene. Maybe we should all slow down a little or even stop and take a proper look at the beauty we so often speed past.
