This large watercolour is part of a triage of paintings featuring views from a riverbank. The whole idea was to convey the cool shade by the gently flowing river against the hot heat of summer in the distance. I wanted not just to lead you into the painting but beyond. Mother Nature provides us with unending beauty and inspiration and may we long appreciate it....and protect it.

While waiting for operations on my knees I took up painting to pass the time.
