Artist's Description
This is one of the buildings left when Cottam Airfield closed. This was the base chapel for RAF Bomber Command Cottam from 1942 up to 1954. Now derelict and crumbling, it makes a dramatic focal point for this painting as it sits under the menacing dark clouds.
