Whitby must be one of the most painted locations in existence. Of course with its iconic skyline that features the ruined abbey, it is an artist's dream of a place. Here's my interpretation deliberately set as night falls to conjure up echoes of the great Gothic novel forever associated with Whitby - Dracula!
