I do like a location with a bit of history. Wansford is a small village on the road from Driffield to Hornsea. You probably drive straight through it with hardly a glance. But you will be missing out. Park up and go for a little stroll and you will find a river and a canal upon which sits this delightful old mill. Better still, Wansford has the tree stump of a restoration ash tree planted when Charles II was restored to the monarchy in 1660. So, there you go - a little village with a lot of history!
