Artist's Description
We have a recent heavy snowfall, which seems to be more unusual than in the winters when we were kids. Maybe it is just a bit of nostalgia, but we used to have proper snow back in the day. Fortified by a big dish of porridge, come rain, shine or snow, I had to make the daily mile walk to the bus stop at Church Corner to wait for the Batley bus. This iPad figure-doodle is a reminder of those days. The school made no allowances for bus timetables and if you were late more than once in a week, you qualified for automatic Saturday morning detention. This often meant a hasty dash up the steep Carlinghow Hill before the bell rang!

Since then I have had the good fortune to exhibit in many prestigious galleries and shows, selling paintings all over the world. I am also a Professional Associate Tutor of the Society of All Artists and...
