Description
I started work on this painting two years ago. It was framed and featured in two exhibitions. However I began to realise that although I was pleased with the subtlety of the piece and what it meant to me, in actual fact there were very few reference points to interest anyone else. So I sat down and added a few sheep, a couple of flying grouse, highlighted the purple heather so abundant just now and finally a new title. So it took me two years and forty minutes to paint this!
