Artist's Description
This particular painting was started shortly after I acquired my iPad and I left it unfinished for six months. However I decided to complete it very recently to capture the vivid colours achieved by Whitby artist George Wetherill. After seeing a Turner exhibition in London in late Victorian times, he returned to his native Whitby and was inspired to paint a fabulous series of watercolours.
