Artist's Description
I painted this watercolour of an unfinished painting by JMW Turner for a competition. I thought the original was a watercolour but no....it was done in oils. I think I read somewhere that Turner "made his watercolours look like oils, and his oils look like watercolours!"....certainly true in this case.
