Product Details

Our luxuriously soft beach towels are made from brushed microfiber with a 100% cotton back for extra absorption.   The top of the towel has the image printed on it, and the back is white cotton.   Our beach towels are available in two different sizes: beach towel (32" x 64") and beach sheet (37" x 74").

Don't let the fancy name confuse you... a beach sheet is just a large beach towel.

Artist's Description

My dear friend Margaret Hockney, not surprisingly, knows a lot about art and she has given me many valuable suggestions and tips especially when I was first starting to paint. One such is that if you do something exciting once, then it could just a happy accident. But if you can repeat it again, then you have mastered a new technique. Which is why I returned to this scene again. I was pleased with last week’s painting but was it just a happy accident?
I have reworked the scene while retaining the things I was happy with. I have added more colour and refined the way I painted the sea. I have also added a lot of detail to the foreground. I still took care to get the tones right though as this creates the feeling of space in the painting. I used the same four colours as last time -French ultramarine, Payne’s grey, Windsor yellow and brown madder.
I am very happy with my efforts and feel I have improved on the first painting, so I can now look forward to moving on to something...

About Glenn Marshall

LIGHT.......inspires me LEGEND.......intrigues me LANDSCAPE inspires me! I have letters after my name...F.O.L....but it is not 'Fellow of..' but 'Fell Off'...a ladder! While waiting for operations on my knees I took up painting to pass the time. Like so many other people I soon became hooked and embarked on a fascinating journey to learn how to improve and develop my style..a journey that never ends...but what a trip! I took the plunge in 2003 and with the support of my lovely wife I began to paint full time. Since then I have had the good fortune to exhibit in many prestigious galleries and shows, selling paintings all over the world. I am also a Professional Associate Tutor of the Society of All Artists and...
