Description
I walked past this fallen tree many times and always knew that I would paint it,,but when? Finally I found the right time. It was interesting to find out that the old english name for hawthorn was 'Quickthorn'. When it became used for boundaries it became known as 'quick' in the old fashioned meaning of 'alive' as opposed to the 'dead' walls and fences.
