Artist's Description

Here is another interpretation of the Yorkshire Wolds using different colours. This is the view opposite our parking place for when we take the dogs to Sledmere Wood. I noticed a field with poppies in the distance. Sadly, this is a rare sight these days, so always pleasing to see. The trees and hedges provide a strong frame and make for a good composition. The colours I used this time were: French Ultramarine, Payne’s Grey, Raw Sienna, Raw Umber and Burnt Sienna.
