I have stayed in a little cottage at Fairy Plain on several painting holidays. It is a beautiful spot in the North Yorkshire Moors. This is the scene from the road past Staunch Bullen down into Fryup Dale and Fairy Plain.

While waiting for operations on my knees I took up painting to pass the time.
