Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. I have stayed in a little cottage at Fairy Plain on several painting holidays. It is a beautiful spot in the North Yorkshire Moors. This is the scene from the road past Staunch Bullen down into Fryup Dale and Fairy Plain.
