Artist's Description
Strolling by a river must be one of the most pleasant of pastimes. We used to walk here by the River Ouse nearly every morning and it provided much inspiration in my early painting career. And why not? It's a beautiful river and who would not be moved by its ever changing moods and colours. This is the stretch from Rawcliffe Landings heading towards the small village of Overton - a great way to start your day.

While waiting for operations on my knees I took up painting to pass the time.
