This watercolour was done as a demonstration painting for an art society. It is designed to inspire painters to experiment with watercolour and although relatively easy to do the effects can be quite wonderful as the colours run and blend. Then with the addition of some detail....the painting appears as if by magic!

While waiting for operations on my knees I took up painting to pass the time. Like so many other people I soon became hooked and embarked on a fascinating journey to learn how to improve and develop my style..a journey that never ends...but what a trip! I took the plunge in 2003 and with the support of my lovely wife I began to paint full time.
