The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

When I first saw the original 'Blue Rigi' by Turner, I thought it quite simply the most exquisite watercolour I have ever seen. I painted this homage to the great master as part of my 'Inspirations' series. The more you study a painting the more you appreciate the genius behind it. I simplified my painting quite a bit and concentrated on just getting a 'feel' of the original.
