Woldgate is an old Roman road and can be inspiring at any time and any season. Spring is particularly attractive when there is an exuberant burst of new life. After a shower the colours are refreshed and gleam vividly in the evening sunlight. The beauty of Woldgate is that just round that next bend is another scene that is just asking to be painted. Living so close to this spectacular display of nature in all its glory, I never have far to travel for inspiration.
