Artist's Description

Millington Woods is a lovely little woodland tucked away in Millington Dale which is one of the hidden gems of the Yorkshire Wolds. The traditional craft of charcoal burning is still carried out in the woods. We visited with friends amongst whom was photographer Margaret Hockney who spent the day merrily snapping away. I was able to turn the tables in this whimsical study of Margaret and Charlie her beloved dachshund.
